Keeping your Outfit Spot On!

Happy first day of Spring beauties.  Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite dresses. I like this dress because of the frilly girly look but most of all I love it because of the polka dots. I’ve always loved polka dots. The pattern is feminine, timeless, demure and quite easy to wear from day to night.

Polka dots have been around a long time so it’s not really a ‘trend’. This pattern always seems to circle back just as much as stripes. When I was a kid my mom and I had matching polka dot dresses. Whenever we wore our dresses, she always nailed her polka dot look by keeping her silhouette modern and her dots a little smaller than mine. She looked chic and elegant in her dress while I, let’s just say-looked age appropriately cute.

So, I am taking a page from my mom’s fashion diaries by adding my own flair. I thought I’d rock my dress with a leather moto jacket, a belt, fishnets and some booties.

No matter what your size, height or shape add your own stylish flair. Rock what your mamma gave you and OWN it.

Have a great week beauties

Bomber Jacket Bargain

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed the extra hour of sunshine. Mine was a really busy one. Andy and I got a great start to our big Spring overhaul. There was a lot of cleaning, organizing and some shopping around for new office furniture. The weather was unpredictable to say the least but my trusty bomber jacket had me covered. I got this dream piece from NA-KD. Hurry because it’s on sale.

If you are looking for something different the bomber jacket is a great alternative to wearing a leather or denim jacket. I love wearing it because it is extremely lightweight. I love rocking mine with skinny jeans but it works with just about anything, from a slip dress, to jeans and a tee, to a turtleneck and culottes.

If the temps are on the cooler side just throw it over a sweater if not pair it with your favorite tee for that casual no fuss “off-duty model” look. The zipper detail on the left arm may be small but it adds an effortless sporty edgy side.

This season’s bomber comes in a daring range of colors, designs and even patches for those who care to adventure beyond the classic black look.

What do you pair your bomber jacket with? Would love to hear from you.

Get Maxi-mum Wear

Happy Monday Lovelies.

For some of us, as cool winds blow, Spring 2017 may seem like a million months away. But there is hope  with all the beautiful bright  colors popping up in stores and the promise of pastel colored Easter eggs and baskets tell us that warmer days will be here soon.

Only thirteen more days to go for the first day of Spring I just could not wait. So, I ditched my puffer coat, scarves and gloves for this beautiful maxi skirt, denim jacket, fishnet stockings and booties.

Maxi dresses and skirts  are so pretty, delicate, feminine and super comfortable. But my favorite thing about maxi dresses and skirts is that they are so versatile. With the right amount of layering and accessories this printed maxi skirt can be worn during Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.

For a little added comfort and warmth I always have my reliable denim jacket handy for the early Spring chill.

What trends are you most looking forward to incorporating into your Spring wardrobe? Would love to read your comments. Have a great week beauties.
